"Discipulando Naciones"/Discipling Nations

Blessings for you dear friends!
I´ m writing you from the warm city of Buenos Aires!

During these last months maybe some of you have asked yourselves about me…where is Erika? And what is she doing? Maybe you also heard I was study, working or even getting engaged!
The truth is those were not just rumors in fact, that I did try to do all those things. Being back from the mission field (India where I was for about 6 years) I thought that it will be good to go back to a "normal life" and have a much more stable lifestyle. God has been so good with me that allowed me to learn through these experiences so much more from Him and who I am, my place in His Kingdom.
Above it all I was able to rest, spending quality time with family and put things in perspective.

Some of the principles I´ve learned during this time:

1) God has a very specific purposse with each one of us and He will fulfill it, if we allow Him, even though we have lots of weaknesses.
2) I must focus on that purpose and appreciate it´s uniqueness although it may defer from how it might look in others.3) God trains the one He sends and gives us strength when we do not have any.
4) There is blessing for those who trust in Him and want to obey His word.

As you see there is so much more I can share with you, I hope you understand it doesn´t come from theory but from the work in my heart during this time.

I´m so happy I can continue ahead with the destiny that God has marked for me. Ephesians 2:10 says that God has prepared good works for us in advance! J
I also would like share with you that a new chapter opens for me in the book of life and at the end of April I will be traveling to Paris city (France) to work in a missions mobilization project with a church called Kerygma.

His pastor is called Eliseo Soto, he is peruvian and along with his family, founded the church 25 years ago. The Kerygma church is a very alive and growing congregation located in Paris centre and is formed by more than 500 members, French and South american wanna make a difference in their place and the world. They also count with a School of missions and a Theological Seminary.

"Argentina: "A seedbed to the Nations"

To train and mobilize european and argentinian for the sharing of the Gospel in their cities and to the unreached nations is this project´s purposse and objectives.
During the months of August to October we´ll organize a missions practical training where brothers and sisters will be empowered and trained to go in groups to other countries like Ingland, Spain and Italy to collaborate and share with other churches in the zone.

At this time I am dedicated to the project´s promotion and the intensive learning of french language.


Before the Throne:

-Please pray for new opportunities to share and promote about this missions Project since is an effort to extend God´s Kingdom. Also pray for people who will be part of this, going as volunteers in August.

-A convenient ticket and travel insurance.(Open for a year since I will love to have enough time there to try to go and visit friends I have around too ).

-My language studies since french is be an indispensable tool in order to relate to people and effectively minister to them.

-For the departure time after two years of being with family and friends. Pray for my emotions.

Bendiciones queridos amigos!
Les escribo desde la calurosa Buenos Aires, Argentina!

Algunos de ustedes seguramente se habran preguntado donde he estado durante estos ultimos meses, años?…Quizas hasta escucharon que estaba estudiando o trabajando o hasta de novia!
La verdad es que luego de regresar de la India, he intentado hacer todas esas cosas. Deseaba "volver a un estilo de vida mas estable".Dios ha sido tan bueno conmigo que permitio que durante estos ultimos 2 años y a traves de estas experiencias, aprendiera mucho acerca de quien soy en El, de Su fidelidad y de mi lugar en Su Reino.
Sobre todo pude descansar, poniendo las cosas en perspectiva y pasar tiempo de calidad junto a mi familia e iglesia.

Algunos de los principios que aprendi durante este tiempo:

1) Dios tiene un proposito bien especifico con cada uno de nosotros y El lo cumplira a pesar de nuestras debilidades, si nos ponemos en sus manos.
2) Debo enfocarme en ese proposito aceptando su originalidad, que va a ser muy diferente del proposito que le dio a otros.

3) Dios capacita al que envia y da fuerzas al que no tiene ninguna.
4) Hay bendicion para el que confia y espera en Sus promesas.

Como veran hay mucho mas para compartir pero esto no surge de mera teoria sino de aquello que Dios ha tratado conmigo durante este tiempo.

Estoy contenta de continuar en el destino trazado por Dios para mi vida. Efesios 2:10, dice que El preparo buenas obras para que andemos en ellas desde un principio…J

Quisiera contarles tambien que un nuevo capitulo en el libro de mi vida se abre y a fines del mes de Abril estare viajando hacia la ciudad de Paris (Francia) para trabajar con un proyecto de movilización misionera con L´eglise Kerygma.

Su pastor es Eliseo Soto, es un pastor peruano que junto a su flia comenzo esta iglesia, hace mas de 25 años. La Iglesia Kerygma es una iglesia viva y creciente situada en el centro de Paris y que posee mas de 500 miembros entre los cuales se encuentran latinos y franceses que quieren hacer una diferencia en su pais y el mundo. Posee Instituto teologico y escuela de misiones tambien.


"Argentina: Semillero a las Naciones"

El proposito de este proyecto es entrenar y mobilizar argentinos y europeos para la evangelizacion de sus ciudades y de las naciones menos evangelizadas, especialmente situadas en Asia.

Durante los meses de Agosto a Octubre, se realizara un entrenamiento teorico-practico de misiones y una cruzada simultanea donde hermanos argentinos y franceses seran capacitados e iran en diferentes grupos a paises como Inglaterra, España e Italia a colaborar con iglesias de la zona.

Al momento estoy dedicada a la promocion de este proyecto y el aprendizaje intensivo del idioma frances.


Delante del Trono:

-Oren por oportunidades para compartir y promocionar el proyecto y por aquellas personas que seran parte, llendo como voluntarios en el mes de agosto.

-Mi viaje el 21 de Abril y por el pasaje (U$D 1300) y seguro de viaje (U$D 300).Abiertos por un año ya que quiero aprovechar a visitar amigos que hace mucho que no veo.

-Mis estudios de frances, ya que sera mi herramienta indispensable de trabajo y es tan importante para relacionarse con la gente y ser realmente efectiva en la tarea.

-Este tiempo de re-despegue de mis seres queridos e iglesia, mis emociones.
